The Analytics Accelerator helps aspiring data analysts transforming their careers by landing their first role in data, teaching skills to bridge the gap between technical tutorials and real job readiness.

Our YouTube channel, led by Christine Jiang (former data director and hiring manager), is a core part of that mission. We create long-form educational YouTube videos that teach aspiring analysts the frameworks, strategies, and confidence to succeed.

We’re looking for a video editor who understands educational storytelling for YouTube - someone who can take long, talking-head lessons and transform them into clear, engaging, high-retention videos. Think Ali Abdaal, Rose Han, and Nischa.

💼 What you’ll actually do

• Edit 2–3 educational videos per month (~10–25 minutes; talking-heads and technical screenshare demos).
• Take projects from rough cut to fully polished educational content, including pacing, flow, color, and audio.
• Collaborate with the content team on story beats, thumbnails, titles, and data-specific visuals.
• Implement retention tactics: strong hooks, pacing adjustments, pattern interrupts, cropping/punch-ins, sound design.
• Manage assets and versioning in Google Drive / Frame.io (or your own efficient system).
• Iterate using performance/stylistic feedback (watch time, audience retention, CTR, conversion).
